Missouri Rhine Valley Association Building the Bridge Summer Event in Washington, Missouri
Saturday, June 28, 2014, 9:15 a.m. to 8:16 p.m.
Board Amtrak in St. Louis (9:15am) or Kirkwood (9:44am) and ride to Washington or drive yourself…
A Farmers’ Market, boutique shopping, and art galleries await as you stroll the downtown area.
Then on to a brewery tour with food and beer tastings from local producers.
Afterward you will board a coach to take you to Blumenhof and Noboleis Wineries, where you will enjoy a wine tastings and the food pairings.
Back in Washington we will tour the Todd Geisert Farm and then enjoy a multi-course pig roast dinner on the farm overlooking the Missouri River. Dinner will be prepared by chefs Matt Bessler and Rob Uyemura. If the weather does not cooperate, then the meal will be served under the Washington Farmers’ Market.
After a great day of touring and fabulous food and spirits, the evening return train will leave Washington at 8:16pm.

This Farm to Table event is sponsored by the Missouri Rhine Valley Association. It will provide participants with a ride on Amtrak to Washington, Missouri where they will board a coach for an experience wine tastings, food pairings and local cuisine.
Cost is $175 per person, including Amtrak, Tours, Tastings and Dinner ($145 without the train) - through June 1, 2014. After June 1, the price will increase $25 per person ($200 and $170). The event is for adults, 21 and older. The dress code is casual.
