Identification of Common Forages and Weeds - Kearney

This course is designed t help beginning farmers and those who have moved to rural areas identify common forages and weeds on their property. Growers who have been in agriculture will also benefit by attending this class.
Students will learn concepts of weed identification followed by hands on activities learning plat parts, examining live weed specimens, and using resources to identify weeds.
Please contact the Ray County Extension office at (816) 776-6961 by Friday, June 20th to register. Payment is to accompany registration so materials can be ordered.
