The Northland Grandfamilies Program strives to raise awareness of issues facing grandparents/aunts/uncles who are raising grandchildren or nieces and nephews under the age of 18. In addition to providing support groups, programs and resources for the grandfamily participants; staff members also present informative programs and educational displays/exhibits throughout the Northland community to increase public knowledge and awareness. Venues include Parent Fairs, service club meetings, and volunteer trainings.
Northland Grandfamilies will be providing an educational exhibit at the Kearney-Holt CAN annual "Family University". Come and learn more about this program which serves grandparents, aunts & uncles who are raising grandchildren/nieces/nephews.
