Diversified Agriculture Conference - Webster County

Description:

This 90th annual conference will provide up-to-date information on the best ways to control yield-robbing weeds and poisonous plants in pastures and cropland, new technologies and practices that can help you maximize forage quality with round bale silage and stockpiling pastures, necessary steps to make a profit from small-acreage farms, the when and how of preparing highquality calves for market, and what resources can help you improve your farm profitability.

Get up-to-date information to make your farm more profitable. Visit a variety of sponsor displays and network with producers over lunch.

Registration:

Lunch and some conference costs are covered by sponsors. However, county and state cuts to MU Extension funding made it necessary to implement a $10 per person registration fee this year to cover the remainder of unfunded conference costs. Cost:

$10.00
$10 per person pre-registration fee (under age 12 are free) by Jan. 14, or $15 per person at the door. Participants are also invited to bring non-perishable food items or a cash contribution to be donated to the Webster County Food Pantry.
