The Northland Early Education Council (NEEC) board is comprised of representatives of Northland community agencies, organizations, school districts and early childhood programs. The primary mission and purpose of NEEC is to plan, provide and promote educational events and training sessions for professionals and para-professionals who provide care and education to young children. A secondary goal is to serve as an advocacy group for quality, assessible and affordable child care, especially in the Clay, Platte and Ray County area of the Northland.
The Northland Early Education Council (NEEC) board meets on a regular basis to share program updates, discuss public policy and advocacy issues and to plan educational training events for the early childhood community.
Membership on the NEEC board is open to any individual who is involved in the field of early care and education; whether directly or indirectly.
