Description:
This is a series of six workshops designed for first time homeowners. The workshops include: Buying a Home, Home Ownership, Home Maintenance, Make Your Money Count!, Protecting Your Family and Family Communications. These workshops will meet sweat equity requirements for Joplin Area Fuller Center for Housing, Habitat for Humanity and similar program participants.
Session topic:
Buying a Home -- This workshop will include information to help you make this important decision, such as: Is now the right time? Am I ready to buy? What can I afford?
