E-Commerce for Kids Workshop - Youth Learning to Sell Online (Session 4 of 5)

Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Online workshop originating from MU Campus. Participants can connect from anywhere with a computer, high-speed Internet, and phone.

Description:

Want to learn how to apply your 4-H project skills to sell items online, start a business from home, and still have time for 4-H, friends, and fun? Curious how other youth are using online sites like Facebook, eBay, and Etsy to earn their own money? Find out this summer! The E-commerce for Kids workshop is for any 4-H youth ages 11-18 interested in learning about e-commerce. No experience necessary! Joining in this online meeting of youth and adult leaders will be easy from your home computer.

Session topic:

Youth ages 11-18 (and parents too) can learn how to use marketable 4-H project skills to sell items online and/or start a business from home. Webinar will feature how young e-commerce entrepreneurs are using online sites to support a micro-business.
