Where:

Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center

Description:

Missouri law requires all purchasers and users of restricted-use pesticides to attend a training session to be certified for a private applicators license. This 2.5 hour training video will allow individuals to recertify or receive initial training to be licensed to purchase or use restricted-use pesticides for five years. The private applicator license is for your personal use only. You must also be a producer of some kind of agricultural commodity (pasture, hay, corn, etc.) You may not use this license for any kind of employment where you apply the restricted chemicals to structures or land. Participants will be required to purchase the Private Pesticide Applicator Reference Manual and pay a small materials cost for a total of $15.

Due to budget cuts and staff reductions, the Greene County office will no longer host this video training the first Monday of each month. Please call for the date of our next group training (we will do two per year).
