Blackberries offer huge potential for Missouri farmers. Though a challenging crop to produce, blackberries are in high demand for many markets. The Blackberry Production Workshop will offer educational sessions and a tours of an innovative blackberry farm. Join local and nationally known blackberry specialists and farmers to gain expertise on a wide range of blackberry topics, including the blackberry shift trellis, blackberry cultivars, establishing new blackberry plantings, blackberry production practices, blackberry weed management,updates on blackberry insect issues, creative marketing strategies for blackberries, processing blackberries into value-added products, blackberry growers profiles, and on-farm tours of innovative blackberry producers.
