203 Cedar Street, Hermitage MO map...

The program inspires increased economic development and social viability in rural Missouri.

    Session topic:

This winter will be a challenge in 2019 as the drought of 2018 has left its mark on the cattle industry in Missouri. This three-hour program is designed to address the winter pasture situation, the utilization of hay and grain to offset shortages, as well as meeting the needs of your cattle in their current condition. Topics covered will include but not be limited to pasture condition, types of hay, hay quality, hay testing, reading and understanding your hay test, feeding to meet the needs of your cattle, as well as making it to next spring’s grass as economically as possible. Remember not all cattle are treated equally and you may overfeeding / underfeeding without even knowing it.
