Beware of Predatory Lending

When:

Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, noon to 1 p.m.

Where:

Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC)
115 N Williams Street, Moberly MO map...

Description:

Have you seen or read any ads about getting big cash for your small business by tomorrow? Small business owners need to beware of the extremely high interest rates and fast payback terms of these predatory lenders. Small business lending is not covered by the same consumer protection laws as personal banking, so this is the wild west of lending right now.

Attend this lunch & learn to identify these schemes and overcome their predatory practices. If you’re caught in the middle of one of these “payday loans for business,” we will show you how to get out of it.

Mark A. Claypole, Assistant Vice President of SBA Lending at The Bank of Missouri, will present this session.
