County Council Annual Meeting

A potluck dinner will be provided (chicken provided by extension staff), followed by the swearing in of eight new council members by Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller.
The guest speaker for the evening will be County Auditor Cindy Stein who, along with other county officials, will explain how they have used the Great Game of Business to make government friendly and more efficient.
Three individuals will be presented the “Honor Roll” Award. The Leaders Honor Roll program is intended to honor outstanding University of Missouri Extension community leaders who have excelled in supporting or co-teaching named programs.
This year’s recipients are: Lisa Bakerink (Executive Director of Friends of the Garden); RoseAnn Bentley (retired County Commissioner) and Tom Huff (President of Greene County Farm Bureau).
