Food Preservation Camp (Session 1 of 5)

Description:

"Food Preservation Camp" is a one day event that allows participants to focus their time and attention and learn the basics of food preservation: canning, pickling, freezing, drying, salsa and jams/jellies. Classes are hands-on and participants leave with recipes and handouts as well.

Session topic:

"Food Preservation Camp" taught all aspects of food preservation. During Session 1, Pressure Canning was taught, using the MU Extension Home Preservation curriculum.

Registration:

Registration forms are available on the Greene County Extension website and can be printed out and mailed in with a check. Registration is also available online for those wanting to pay by credit card. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited to the first 20 to enroll and pay. more...
