Preserving the Harvest Home Food Preservation Series (Session 4 of 5)

Description:
This five session series will teach participants the basics of food preservation through hands-on experience in pressure canning, water bath canning, freezing, and dehyrdating fruits and vegetables.
Session topic:
Learn to make salsa and use a water bath canner to preserve salsas, fruits and other high acid foods.
Registration:
Participants may register for individual workshops or all 5 workshops of the series. For more information, contact the Callaway County Extension Center at 573-642-0755 or e-mail the instuctor.
Cost:
$60.00
$15 for each individual workshop, if not registering for the series. One family member (same household) may attend each session for an additional $7, with one set of handout materials.
