Description:

Starting a Business in Missouri is a 3-hour workshop created for those considering going into business for themselves designed for entrepreneurs of all ages, backgrounds, education and experience—regardless of the type of business you want to start!

Writing a Business Plan is a 3-hour workshop created for those considering going into business for themselves and includes: writing style tips, required content, how to use a business plan as a management tool, a greater understanding of what a business plan should look like, and how to get started.

All course materials and lunch provided.

If you have type 2 diabetes or have a family member with diabetes, this class will help you gain knowledge and skills for managing it. Learn how to avoid short-term and long-term complications. You will sample two diabetes-friendly recipes each week. Participants will receive a recipe booklet and handouts for further reading.

This class focuses on healthy eating for the person with diabetes or pre-diabetes. We will discuss the foods that contain carbohydrates and how to use the plate method in planning meals.
