2017 SEMO District Fair

Description:

4-H members exhibit and display their projects during the SEMO District Fair. Events are held throughout the week. 4-Her's will show their animals starting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning in their respective tents. Members will also sell their animals on Thursday night starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena.

Chronic Disease Self-Management- Northland Shepherd Center (Session 6 of 6)

Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshop Are you affected by one or more chronc health conditions, such as arthritis, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure? This workshop is an evidence based program developed at Stanford University which provides a toolkit of techniques to assist in self-management of chronic illnesses.

Feel Better Now: A Chronic Disease Self-Management program (Session 2 of 6)

SSSH level 2 (Session 15 of 16)

Description:

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults; access to a safe, structured, and effective strength training program.;Stay Strong, Stay Healthy- Level 2 is a follow-up to Level 1. It is for those who want to challenge themselves a bit more! Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each session, a prescribed set of eight to 10 upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. In order to enroll in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Level 2 program, you must have completed the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-Level 1 program at least twice. Participants are made to feel comfortable and are encouraged to gradually build the strength beneficial to health. All equipment is provided.
