FastTrac NewVenture (Session 2 of 5)

Description:

In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City and brought to you by the UMKC SBTDC and University of Missouri Extension, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

All application and payment materials must be completed no later than noon on Friday, July 25. Are you a recently unemployed or laid-off worker? There are scholarships available for this course through the Dislocated Workers program. In order to attend the FastTrac NewVenture course via dislocated worker scholarship, participants must attend The First Steps to Starting a Business and The Basics of Writing a Business Plan before they are eligible to enroll in FastTrac NewVenture.
