Advanced Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (Session 1 of 10)

The Advanced class is for those who have completed a “Basic” Stay Strong, Stay Healthy class or have been strength training regularly for six months or longer. The advanced class includes more complex upper and lower body strengthening exercises, core body exercises, and balance movements.

Better Choices, Better Health is a 6 week workshop that teaches you the skills you need to manage your symptoms and take control of your health! Learn how to: deal with stress, fear, and anxiety; manage medications; manage symptoms; eat healthier; communicate more effectively; and sleep better.

A series of classes held at the Greene County Extension Center focused on a variety of MU Extension topics. Attendees can bring a lunch or purchase snacks in the Botanical Center bookstore and learn something new each week. Classes will last 50 minutes and will provide high quality educational information in a variety of subject areas. See the session topic for detailed information on individual sessions.
Session topic:
"Using Social Media in Disaster Recovery." Class uses MU Extension publication on the topic and provides an overview of how social media has recently been used in disaster recovery along with basic tips on getting started with social media.
