Private Pesticide Applicator Training (Session 6 of 7)

Missouri law requires all purchasers and users of restricted-use pesticides to attend a training session to be certified for a private applicators license. This 2.5 hour training video will allow individuals to recertify or receive initial training to be licensed to purchase or use restricted-use pesticides for five years. The private applicator license is for your personal use only. You must also be a producer of some kind of agricultural commodity (pasture, hay, corn, etc.) You may not use this license for any kind of employment where you apply the restricted chemicals to structures or land. Participants will be required to purchase the Private Pesticide Applicator Reference Manual and pay a small materials cost for a total of $15.

The Greene County office hosts this training the first Monday of each month. Call to schedule a specific time for the video training.

Fee covers the cost of the required pesticide guide and a small materials fee.

Preserving the Harvest Home Food Preservation Series (Session 3 of 5)

This five session series will teach participants the basics of food preservation through hands-on experience in pressure canning, water bath canning, freezing, and dehyrdating fruits and vegetables.
