Daviess County Achievement and Contest Days

Description:
This is a closed event. Open only to youth enrolled in Daviess County 4-H. The youth of Daviess County will have the opportunity to display their projects for the year and have them judged for selection to the Missouri State Fair, Inter-State, and the Northwest Missouri State Fair.
Ozark Empire Fair Hay Show & Missouri State Fair Hay Show (Session 1 of 2)

Description:
Ozark Empire Fair Hay Show, Springfield, Mo. Extension specialists will collect hay samples from farms in the Southwest Region for competition and an educational display at the Ozark Empire Fair.

This is the entry deadline for farmers who wish to enter hay samples in the Ozark Empire Fair Hay Show.

This introductory 3-hour seminar is an overview of the critical first steps associated with winning government contracts. The Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MO PTAC) host a bi-monthly seminar on how to get started in the government contracting arena including federal, state and local government registrations and certifications. The seminar will also cover MO PTAC services available to assist Missouri businesses in all aspects of government contracting.

2011 2012 Knox County 4-H Council (Session 8 of 8)

The Knox County 4-H Council is a policy-making body, which has the responsibility for guiding, promoting and implementing the 4-H program. The Council is responsible for approving the curriculum offered within the county. It also plans, budgets, coordinates, and manages the many educational events which are part of the curriculum. If financial resources are needed the council is responsible for developing these resources. Program and leadership development is also the councils responsibility. The Knox County 4-H Council meets the second Tuesday during the months of: September, November, January, March, May, and July. Special council meetings may be called when necessary. Each 4-H Club is made up of two voting representatives from each club in the county.
