When:  Sunday, July 1, 2012, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where:
Maries County Extension Center in Vienna.
211 4th St, Vienna MO map...

Description:

Who Get's Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate - This class provides guidelines for dispersal of non-titled property. Almost everyone has personal belongings-such as wedding photographs, a baseball glove, or a glass dish-that contain meaning for them and for other members of their family. What happens to your personal belongings when you die? Who decides who gets what? How can decisions be made during one’s lifetime? Planning for the transfer of such items is a challenge facing the items’ owners, family members and legal representatives who may be left to make decisions when a family member dies. If you would like to know more about transferring items when someone dies in your family, this class is for you.

Session topic:

This class gives guidelines to people for dispersal of non-titled property. Some property has a title or deed so there are special ways to transfer those items, but other items have no legal document attached so someone has to make a decision.

Registration:

Register through the Maries County Extension Center at 573-422-3359. Class will be held at the Maries County Courthouse in Vienna:
211 4th Street, Vienna, MO 65582.
