In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

Registration:
All campers receive a T-shirt.
Member camp programs are conducted by 4-H teen counselors under the supervision of University of Missouri Extension
Southwest Region 4-H youth staff.
Trout fishing is an option for campers, usually two times at 6:30 a.m. each day. State Park daily license fee is $2 ($3 if
member is 16 or older). Older members must have valid MO fishing permit. Bring cash to pay for fishing fee at camp. Each
fisherperson needs to bring the following equipment: fishing rod, reel, and 2 - 4 lb. test line, single hook lures (60th-100th
ounce jigs or 1/16 oz. single hook rooster tails) and a stringer. (Few/no trout are caught on heavier line or larger lures.) A
limited number of camp rods and reels are available. Each fisherperson must wear a billed cap and eye protection (eye
glasses, sun glasses or safety glasses) while fishing. Please send cap and glasses with your camper if they intend to fish.

Priority will be given to current 4-H'ers. Friends may attend camp but must enroll in 4-H by paying state dues and completing enrollment form!
Refund Policy: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations before May 15 will receive a full refund, half refund if cancellation is before June
15, and no refund if member just fails to show up to camp. If a member must cancel at any time, please try to find another member to take their
place INVITE A FRIEND OR TWO!! WE NEED CAMPERS!
Camp Applications are accepted until camp fills. Late Fee Applies after May 15, so apply now!!
Need-based scholarships are available for up to half of camp fee. Contact your 4-H staff person for more information.
