Putnam County 4-H Council Bake Sale

Putnam County 4-H Council will be having a Bake Sale on May 30 starting at 9:00 am until all baked items are sold. It will be held on the North side of the Putnam County Courthouse.

Management Intensive Grazing School

When:  Friday, May 30, 2014, 11 a.m. to Saturday, May 31, 2014, 5 p.m.

Where:  
Oak Grove Baptist Church - near Madison, 7 miles North of Highway 24 on Highway 151.

Description:

This two day management intensive grazing school will teach attendees how to use forage management and managed grazing techniques to reduce feed costs and improve profitability.

Registration:

$50 for the first person and $25 for the second person per farm/firm. Payment will be required by May 22. The fee covers a meal Friday evening, as well as lunch and refreshments on Saturday and course materials. A Gardener's Vineyard Tour

Description:

Want to learn more about growing grapes? Join us the afternoon of May 30th 2014 at Les Bourgeois to visit a couple of vineyards and discuss grape growing.

Session topic:

Refreshments, a snack and handouts are provided. Meet at the Les Bourgeois Gift Shop. A short drive will be required. (For Master Gardeners this qualifies as Advanced Training)
'Rain or Shine'! Come with appropriate footwear and an umbrella if needed.
