In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

Nutrition Training for Child Care Providers

"Childhood Obesity and Missouri's Eat Smart Guidelines for Child Care" will discuss the current childhood obesity epidemic and how it relates to child care. It will also introduce the Missouri Eat Smart Child Care initiative as a way to improve child care meals.
