A Health Fair was scheduled for 5-6 grades at Twin Rivers campuses at Qulin and at Fisk. Topics included: Pubery/hygiene and prescription drug prevention.
The health fair was taught one Extension Specialist and one representative from S.E. Behavioral Health. Topics: puberty/hygiene and prescription drug prevention.

In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

Do you have concerns about falling? Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. The Matter of Balance class emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. Participants will learn to: view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and learn simple exercises to increase strength and balance.
