GrandFamily Conference

Description:

This conference is designed to address issues facing grandparents raising their grandchildren and to guide them toward resources that may be available to help fulfill the family's needs. Event Topics include: Taking Care of Self, Managing Unwanted Behaviors, The Tough Stuff (talking to youth about bullying, sexting, cyberbullying, sex, etc.), Infant/Toddler Care and a Legal Panel consisting of a local attorney, a children's division representative, and a Community Development Representative from HealthCare USA. Children 5 and up will be supervised and get to play in the gym, do a craft and swim from 12:30-2:00pm. Children 3 months to 4 years will be supervised in the Stay N' Play.

Starting a Business: The First Steps

"The Basics of Writing a Business Plan" is designed for business owners and managers who need to know how to create a business plan for their organization so the plan can be a useful management tool.
