Fresh fruits and vegetables produced in home gardens are a healthy supplement to the diets of many Missourians. The ‘Great Recession’ rekindled interest in edible gardening. Container gardening has long been a favorite for individuals with limited space or restricted mobility. Herbs can be enjoyed in a number of ways, especially to enhance food and teas; they are also ideal in containers. (4 sessions) more...

Description:

Missouri continues to have a very complicated fence law, in large part due to the fact that two separate laws cover the state depending on the county that your land is in. Another problem is that both laws are subject to interpretation and can be a little different, depending on the county you’re in. A comparison of both laws will be given at this program. Landowners need to be aware of what the law is in their county and this meeting will help them better understand their rights and responsibilities.

Session topic:

A comparison of Missouri's fence laws will be given. The seminar will be conducted via Adobe Connect, an internet-based conferencing system that allows tow-way communication between different locations.
