Artificial Insemination Clinic (Session 1 of 3)

The clinic consists of classroom work to learn the basics of the cow's reproductive tract, semen handling, heat detection, synchronization and insemination. There is also hands-on practice to learn actual insemination techniques.

Annie's Project (Session 6 of 6)

Description:

Farm women and landowners come from many different backgrounds, from rural to city life. Women who are new to the farm business may be overwhelmed and afraid to ask questions. Women who are accustomed to the farm business may understand agriculture, but feel overwhelmed with all the new technologies. Over a six week period, Annie’s Project gives the participants the opportunity to learn from business specialists as well as from each other. Some of the topics to be covered in the class include: Working with many types of people, Business Plans, Property titles, Leases and Legal issues, Financial Statements, Retirement & Estate Planning, Spreadsheets, Marketing, Insurance, How to use Financial Statements, and much more.
