The National Cruelty Investigations School is designed for animal cruelty investigators at the federal, state, and local levels, humane society cruelty investigators, animal control officers, police officers and sheriff’s deputies responsible for the investigation of animal cruelty complaints, Humane Society Board Member, and other individuals interested in learning a systematic approach to animal cruelty investigations.

The Master Gardener program provides in depth horticultural training to individuals throughout Missouri and who then volunteer their time applying what they have learned to help others in their communities to learn about gardening. To become trained as a Master Gardener, an individual must attend a 30 hour Core Course Training. Then the Master Gardener trainee is required to give 30 hours of volunteer service back in approved University of Missouri Extension activities. Through activities such as workshops, speakers bureaus, garden show booths and demonstration projects, Master Gardeners provide gardening information to thousands of Missourians each year.
