Missouri Master Naturalist - Level 1 Training (Session 9 of 17)
When: Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where:
The initial meeting location for this session will be at the commuter parking lot at the Eureka exit on I-44 (exit 261 – also known as the Allenton exit). The commuter lot is west of the exit just past the Shell service station on old Highway 66. Google "Allenton Road, Eureka, MO" to get a map of the meeting location.

Stream Ecology Field Study - Fluvial geomorphology, fish and mussel communities, water sampling techniques and macro invertebrate surveys. Plus participants will learn basics of canoeing.

This month season extension will be the focus and the location is the Demonstration Garden: Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture. Jenny Grabner of the Southern Boone Learning Garden will be leading the discussion, joined by Michael Burden, the Health Department Community Garden leader, James Quinn, MU's Regional Horticulture Specialist and other active with Columbia's Community Garden Coalition.
