In FastTrac® NewVenture TM, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities.

The Building Strong Families (BSF) program is taught year-round in cooperation with Hillcrest Ministries, a non-profit social service agency that provides a variety of programs and services to low-income participants. The BSF program series is part of the life-skills component for residents in Hillcrest's transitional housing program.
