Description:

Educational evening to honor new 2014 additions to the Century Farms Registry in Greene County. Event includes a presentation by David Baker, Assistant Dean of Agriculture Extension in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri, on the challenges facing family farms in the coming 15-20 years. Organic Gardening Academy (Session 11 of 11)

Description:

The Greene County MU Extension office is pleased to host the 2014 Organic Gardening Academy. This series of classes related to organic gardening will present proven, science based techniques on a wide range of topics. Each class will include a presentation of the subject, followed by a hands-on demonstration of the techniques learned during the class. The speakers have a passion for organic gardening, and subject matter expertise.

The introductory class on April 17 is free. The registration fee for each following class is $20. A discounted rate of $180 is available for all 10 classes purchased as a package, if purchased by May 1, 2014.
