Put on your jeans and boots and come celebrate our agricultural heritage in an historical setting and help honor the Century Farms in Greene County. During the event, Greene County Extension will honor five farms being named “Century Farms” this year. Musical entertainment will be provided by Judy Domney, who plays traditional and agriculture related songs. Attendees will be treated to a full meal provided by Maggie Mae’s Catering of Miller and a live auction will also be conducted. Funds raised from this event will benefit Greene County Extension. Thanks to some generous sponsors and monies raised during Give Ozarks, individuals owning a recorded Century Farm can attend the dinner at a discounted rate. Those same Century Farm owners can also attend a pre-dinner workshop for free! Jim Spencer Jr., agriculture business specialist with University of Missouri Extension, will present a educational mini-workshop about keeping the farm in the family from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the same location.
