Farm Safety Workshop (Springfield, MO)
When: Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Missouri State University's Darr Agricultural Center
This workshop will address farm safety topics to an audience of 350 MSU students and advisors.
This workshop will cover gun safety, animal handling, small engines, tractors, 4-wheelers, and electricity, plus a session on the realities of accidents in SW Missouri.
Fish Fry Fundraiser for Webster County Extension Center
When: Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #10844 to benefit the University of Missouri Extension Center in Webster County, to allow them to continue providing unbiased, science-based educational advice and programming to county residents.
The meal will include fried or baked catfish, hush puppies, green beans, cole slaw, homemade desserts, and beverages. more...
Proceeds go to support operational costs of the Webster County Extension Center.
Cost is $7 per adult, $5 for ages 5-12, and free for those under age 5. Donations are tax-deductible.
