Organic Gardening Academy (Session 10 of 11)

Description:

The Greene County MU Extension office is pleased to host the 2014 Organic Gardening Academy. This series of classes related to organic gardening will present proven, science based techniques on a wide range of topics. Each class will include a presentation of the subject, followed by a hands-on demonstration of the techniques learned during the class. The speakers have a passion for organic gardening, and subject matter expertise.

The introductory class on April 17 is free. The registration fee for each following class is $20. A discounted rate of $180 is available for all 10 classes purchased as a package, if purchased by May 1, 2014. Howell County Beekeeping Meeting

Description:

Everyone is welcome. This meeting will focus on fall hive management and preparing hives for overwintering.
Extension Beekeeping meetings provide resources to local bee keepers, design networking opportunities to learn and grow from experienced bee keepers and helps individuals interested in beekeeping produce healthy, happy bees!

Beekeeping resources and books will be available for purchase from the Extension office.
Join us in a bee keeping meeting to learn how to keep your bees healthy and happy through the winter.
