Garlic Production Workshop

Description:

Join University of Missouri Extension horticulturists for a garlic production workshop. All aspects of commercial garlic production will be discussed - origins of garlic, selecting garlic cultivars, planting and production, harvest, postharvest handling, and marketing. Garlic pest management and garlic value-added will round out the discussion. The results of the garlic demonstration planting will be presented, and several garlic cultivars will be available for tasting. Seed garlic will be available for purchase for trial plantings.
