The Northland Grandfamilies program serves grandparents in Clay and Platte Counties who are raising their grandchildren. Support group meetings are scheduled twice a month, with guest speakers on topics of interest. The program is made possible by a partnership of the Clay County Extension Council, the Platte County Senior Fund and Clay County Senior Services.
Daytime support group meeting this month will feature guest speaker Heather Bradley, lead therapist with Synergy Services. Her topic is "Understanding Behavior and Setting Limits".
