2017 SEMO District Fair

When:  Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, 8 a.m. to Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, 9 p.m.

Description:

4-H members exhibit and display their projects during the SEMO District Fair. Events are held throughout the week. 4-Her's will show their animals starting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning in their respective tents. Members will also sell their animals on Thursday night starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena.

Registration:

There is a gate admission to entry the fair.

Japanese Fall Festival (Session 2 of 2)

When:  Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, 11 a.m. to Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, 5 p.m.

Japanese Stroll Garden inside Springfield Botanical Garden

Description:

For the annual Japanese Fall Festival we are excited to have a wonderful line-up of performers, including a group from our sister city of Isesaki and other local performers and artisans. We will have tea ceremonies and the tea cafĂ©, Japanese food and concessions available from Hy-Vee, a great souvenir tent, children’s activity area, a hands-on craft and art tent, and much more! more...

Enjoy family fun in a beautiful setting, learn about another culture and enjoy one of the hidden jewels of our city.
