FastTrac® GrowthVenture™ is targeted to existing businesses who want to develop a plan for growing their companies. Hindsight is 20/20, so use that to create a framework and a plan to improve your business performance. In this course, you are an active participant working on your own business strategy. Facilitators are knowledgeable entrepreneur practitioners who are attuned to the issues that influence the decisions you make about your company, making the program meaningful by applying this knowledge to your business. Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Level 1; MEAAA South County Senior Resource Center (Session 16 of 16)

Has your doctor advised you to be more active? Don't like going to the gym? Our low impact exercise class helps those that would like to be more active. This strength-training program can get your fitness journey (re)started. University of Missouri Extension's Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase aging adults access to a safe, structured and effective strength-training program. Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults; access to a safe, structured, and effective strength training program.;Stay Strong, Stay Healthy- Level 2 is a follow-up to Level 1. It is for those who want to challenge themselves a bit more! Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each session, a prescribed set of eight to 10 upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. In order to enroll in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Level 2 program, you must have completed the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-Level 1 program at least twice. Participants are made to feel comfortable and are encouraged to gradually build the strength beneficial to health. All equipment is provided.

Description:

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy is an eight-week strength training program for middle-aged and older adults. The program’s goal is to improve health and quality of life. The class will meet twice a week.

We will incorporate warm-up exercises; simple strengthening exercises, with or without weights; and cool down stretches. Weights are provided for the class. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring water bottle and towel.
