Smooth bromegrass is still a valuable part of many livestock and forage operations in northwest Missouri but requires proper management to persist in a forage system. This meeting from MU Extension will offer tips on managing brome to maintain it as a viable forage resource.

Participants will receive hands on experience as well as the most current step by step recommendations for food preservation procedures (harvesting/storing fresh produce, pressure canning, water bath canning, freezing and dehydrating).
