    Description:

Do you graze cattle, sheep, horses, and/or maybe goats? Is baling hay a part of your overall farming operation? Do you know what type of forages you are utilizing in your farming operation? Are there any poisonous plants growing out there that might affect your overall livestock operation? Just how good are you at identifying the different type of plants growing in your area? Are these things that might affect the overall profitability of your farming operation? Do you want to spray it? We can help. This is a targeted program to teach producers how to improve forage production economic return while protecting the environment. Techniques include management intensive grazing and fescue toxosis. The program inspires increased economic development and social viability in rural Missouri.
