Annually hundreds of 4-H'ers share the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout the club and project year by exhibiting projects and presenting demonstrations at the Missouri State Fair. Not only do fairs provide an excellent way of showing individual accomplishments but also serve an important role in marketing 4-H to Missouri citizens.
Session topic:
Demonstrations and exhibits at the State Fair provide youth the opportunity to showcase knowledge and skills; practice skills in following specified guidelines, decision making, and organization; and in promoting 4-H.
Registration:
Demonstrators are selected at the county level to present demonstrations/illustrated talks at the Missouri State Fair. Registration information should be submitted by July 15. Exhibits are also selected at the county level to be showcased at the State Fair. Exhibits are delivered to the State Fair by county staff or volunteers and arrive Sunday, August 4 or Monday, August 5.

This radio program is intended to educate viewers on a wide range of topics related to gardening in the Ozarks. Morris Westfall conducts the interview with Patrick Byers, MU Extension-Greene County regional horticulture specialist. Conflict between parents, both before and after a divorce, is associated with many negative outcomes in children. The purpose of this workshop is to help parents learn how to nurture and support their children during and after their divorce.
