175 Elementary Road, Reeds Spring MO map...

Description:

MU Extension 4-H youth development faculty and staff collaborate with partners to address youth and family issues in the community. Rather than providing programs or services directly to an individual young person, the focus is upon influencing systems — people, programs, policies and services that impact the lives of young people and their families.

The Stone County School Readiness Fair is a back-to-school event hosted by Love INC in partnership with Reeds Spring High School. The fair averages a participation of over 35 organizations and churches coming together to provide music, concessions, and a bounce house in addition to the information relating to those children and/or their families provided at each of the booths present.
Children K-12 who attend any Stone County school will be able to receive backpacks, school supplies, shoes, socks, dental and vision screenings, and sports physicals as well as a host of other services at no cost. ?We see an annual average of 300-400 children and, in addition to counselors for the Stone County Schools benefit from any supplies that might remain after the event is done.
