Certified Global Business Professional Exam Training (3 day course)

When:  Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 8:30 a.m. to Thursday, July 31, 2014, 5 p.m.

Description:

This will be a three-day course covering the primary content areas of the CGBP exam. These areas include global business management, global marketing, resources/data sources, international supply chain management with a focus on export facilitation and trade finance. Specific topics included and skills participants will learn are assessing company readiness to export, international business plan development, foreign partner selection, channel management, incoterms, international export documentation, financing export growth, risk management (political, economic, finance), foreign market selection, foreign market entry mode, international logistics (moving freight globally), international trade compliance issues, and international payment methods.

Session topic:

This course is aligned with the national NASBITE CGBP trade professional exam and would support efforts of participants to sit for the national exam.

Mind your business: "Turning Passions into Profits"

St. Louis County Library, the University of Missouri Extension, and the Small Business & Technology Development Centers are pleased to invite you to a lecture series to provide information and valuable resources to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and those who are thinking about starting a business.

All programs will be held in the Auditorium at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters at 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

The July lecture topic will be "Turning Passions into Profit"

These sessions are designed to be interactive workshops including practical exercises and course materials. Each session will begin with morning refreshments and networking period from 8:30-9 am with the workshop starting at 9 am.
