Extension Connection Releases

Description:

The MU Extension Connection Program is a partnership with MU Extension Specialists and three radio stations in Northwest Missouri to provide daily radio releases. Specialists provide a 2-3 minute recording on a relevant topic in their area of expertise and they are played on-air by KAAN (Bethany), KCHI (Chillicothe) and KTTN (Trenton).

Butler Youth Center meeting concerning SPIN Clubs

Ozark Empire Fair Hay Show

Ozark Empire Fair Hay Show, Springfield, Mo. Extension specialists will collect hay samples from farms in the Southwest Region for competition and an educational display at the Ozark Empire Fair.

Law Enforcement Training Academy

This is a low-impact strength training program for people who are 50 or better. The class meets for 1 hour, twice a week for 8 weeks to complete a series of eight exercises with a warm-up and cool down. This program helps participants increase their physical activity which may improve strength, balance and flexibility, resulting in reduced risk for falls, better overall health and greater independence.
