"Eating Well-Basic Nutrition for Kids and for You" & "Childhood Obesity & MO's Eat Smart Guidelines for Child Care" Trainings

This is two separate workshops combined for a total of 2 clock hours for childcare providers. The "Eating Well--Basic Nutrition for Kids and for You" training gives an overview of basic nutrition facts and introduces MyPlate as a tool to choosing healthy foods. While the "Childhood Obesity and Missouri's Eat Smart Guidelines for Child Care" Training will discuss the current childhood obesity epidemic and how it relates to child care. It also introduces the Missouri Eat Smart Child Care initiative as a way to improve child care meals.
To register for this training please call the St. Charles County Extension Office at 636-970-3000, Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
This training is free for participants to attend because it is funded by a grant.
