A Matter of Balance Fall Prevntion Class (Pike Co.) (Session 7 of 8)

A Matter of Balance is an award winning program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of older adults who have concerns about falls. This program utilizes volunteer coaches to teach the eight two-hour sessions.
Recognize fall hazards in home and community. Identify strategies to reduce these hazards. Recognize relationship between assertive behavior and fall prevention.
Call the Pike County Extension Center at 573-324-5464 to register. Space is limited to 25 people.

The Salt River Master Gardeners are a group of Missouri Master Gardeners from Marion, Ralls, Monroe, Pike, and Lewis counties. The group meets the first Tuesday of the month, and has an educational presentation at each meeting.
