MU Extension 4-H Garden Explore Activities (Session 2 of 10)
When: Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 10 a.m. to noon
MU Extension 4-H Garden Activity
Springfield Greene County Botanical Center
MU Extension 4-H Explore Activities - an educational interactive hands-on activity for children ages 2-12. Each session is 30-45 minutes long. A book will be read out loud to the group and an open-ended activity (art or science) will be available to each child. An interactive worksheet will be provided to the teacher/adult to encourage learning activities outside in the park. Topics include (1) All kinds of gardens, (2)Animals in the garden, (3) Butterflies,(4) Bees and (5) Ladybugs
NOTE: Teachers must stay with the group to assist with behavioral needs of the children.
Open ONLY to the students of the Christian Schools of Springfield
All programs MUST be scheduled with MU Extension 4-H.
