A day of old time fun and learning for youth ages 7-10. June 7th at Platte County Fair Grounds. Registration required by May 31
4-H Day Camp, sponsored by Platte 4-H for ages 7-10. Theme is Old Fashioned Fun, so will include colonial games, crafts, & 'chores' as well as science

Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City Garden Tour

The Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City Garden Tour is an opportunity to have a sneak peak into some of the most spectacular gardens in Kansas City. This year we are focusing on seven gardens in the South KC area. The wide variety of garden aesthetics means there will be something for everybody. This conference will bring together Economic Gardening program administrators and community leaders, businesses and EG Team members, to network, to share best practices and to learn what innovations are taking place within Economic Gardening. In addition to conference attendance, which is projected to be over 200 individuals from 20 states, the conference message will reach thousands of Economic Development Agency leaders and employees, Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs), Universities, public policy makers, entrepreneurial support services, prime contractors and second-stage businesses. more...
