Child Care provider education scheduled two evenings in Kirksville at the ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE BUILDING (EDA BUILDING)(formerly the TCRC Building)315 S Franklin.
Two workshops address the environment of the child care setting and how this effects healthy eating habits and the second two workshops address nutrition as it relates to young children.
The first workshop is Setting the Stage for Eating Well-the Nutrition Environment. The second workshop is Healthy Habits for Life-Teaching Nutrition to Preschool Children.

Salt River Master Gardeners monthly meeting (Session 5 of 12)

The Salt River Master Gardeners are a group of Missouri Master Gardeners from Marion, Ralls, Monroe, Pike, and Lewis counties. The group meets the first Tuesday of the month, and has an educational presentation at each meeting.
Alix Carpenter, University of Missouri Extension Agronomy Specialist, will present a program on "Community Gardens".
